Shipping policy

Products will be shipped 1 to 2 weeks after placing your order, excluding weekends and holidays.  If an item is on back order at the time you place the order you will be notified via email and your order will be shipped when complete. In the event your product arrives damaged you must notify us via phone within 7 days after receiving the order.  Do not throw away original packing material as you may be asked to return damaged product in original packing.

All items are inspected for excellent quality prior to leaving our facility. It is the customers’ responsibility to pick up packages in a timely manner to avoid outdoor elements and to avoid damage to products.  Should products become damaged in transit it is the customers responsibility to work with the carrier to rectify the issue.  Products can be replaced if a new order is placed.  There is no guarantee the exact items will be available at the time of replacement order but we will do our best to meet your needs.  

If a package is refused at the time of delivery, or the shipping address is incomplete, the customer will be charged all shipping fees and a 15% restocking fee.  If order was refused by mistake and you still want the product, a new shipping charge will be applied as if it is a new order. 

Address Changes in Transit (UPS only) Customers requiring or requesting a change in the shipping address after the purchase has been shipped and is still en route will be charged as a fee of $15.00.  

We encourage customers to choose insurance and tracking to cover the entire amount of the order when selecting a carrier.  In the event a package is lost in transit it is the  customers responsibility to track and locate this package.  Burning Desire is not responsible to locate any package or replace the missing or lost items without a new order being placed.  Due to the nature of our boutique there is no guarantee the exact items will still be available should a replacement order be placed. Burning Desire will. not provide a refund for lost items.
